  • As Executive Director, managed the merger of two organizationally diverse real estate entities, into one

  • Structured Public-Private partnerships to meet the objectives of the University and the State using off-
    balance sheet, off-credit, tax exempt bond financing including a $26.5 million garden-style complex for
    700 students and a $60 million, three building, mid-rise apartment complex for 1,100 students.
  • Centralized the University’s leasing activities, established databases and reporting procedures.
  • Worked with the City of College Park, Prince Georges County Planning Department, architects, economic development specialists and community members and local businesses on a rezoning Sector Plan Amendment that will facilitate the redevelopment of local roads and a University-owned 70 acre site for a mixed use town center and research park adjacent to campus.

  • Served as solely responsible and accountable Disbursing Officer for the 150 member crew of a US destroyer escort ensuring payroll and benefits were correctly computed and paid to officers and crew on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring a complete in stock inventory of spare parts and consumable items, within operating budget and to provide sufficient reserves for extended sea deployments. This included requisitioning, storage, inventory, and budgeting functions for these items.
  • Assured complete food service operations aboard ship including management of inventory, feeding over 500 meals a day.
  • Operated a retail store operation aboard ship within a margin of accountability of +\- 1% of store sales.
